TALL July 4th Celebration Report

Herkese merhabalar!

Our first ever 4th of July Beach BBQ turned out to be quite a success, with 45 people showing up for fun in the sun at the beautiful Dockweiler Beach in Playa del Rey!  Our Turkish & American flags proudly waved in the wind while everybody enjoyed hot dogs & hamburgers, along with kisir, borek, potato salad, macaroni salad, bean salad, cacik, and a great cake & cookies for dessert.  This was a great event for us to meet new people, enjoy a beautiful day at the beach, and end the day watch the fireworks all around us.  Everybody had a fantastic time, and hardly anybody wanted to go home when the time came!

Thanks to all our Turkish-American friends that continuously supports us.

We're all looking forward to next year's party.  See you then!
