Regarding August 30th

Dear members and friends,
 
Today is August 30, a day that we often take for granted the very people that most deserves our deepest gratitude; our grandparents whom gave their lives in order to protect the Motherland and her freedom.
 
Probably the August 30 1919 victory was the major single turning point in our near history that paved the way for our bright future as well as made us the proud inheritors of a secular , democratic and independent Republic.
 
Our duty is not to forget  that and teach our younger generations the importance of it so that history should not repeat itself.
