TALL 2007 Highlights
Dear Members,
As we near the end of the year, I am so proud of TALL’s accomplishments! Our success was made possible with your solid support, resolve, commitment, hard work and dedication to our wonderful Turkish American Society in Southern California.
Here are the highlights of our 2007 activities, donations and sponsorship where we have been able to raise in donations and fees in excess of $18,000:

We are going to have our 5th annual election in accordance with our bylaws on November 18th. Please mark your calendars. There are two open positions on the Board of Directors because of two-year term completion of the following members; Naime Berkoz and Hafize Turgut. If you would like to become a board member, please send in a short write up telling us about yourself to TALL@atasc.org by November 11th.
The Turkish American Ladies League (TALL) is a chapter organization of ATASC, the Association of Turkish Americans of Southern California. If you reside within the boundaries of Southern California, you are welcome to become a member of TALL. If you are not already a member, we invite you to take the challenge to become a part of our Charity Organization and give service to our community here and abroad. This is an excellent time of the when you can do something very special by making a commitment and giving your time, self and support to our designated charities. We truly mean-Tell a Friend; Bring a Friend; Be a Friend! TALL is here to forward women's interests and highlight the Turkish presence in mainstream American society. We are determined to make a difference.
With your paid membership, you will be entitled to all benefits offered by both the TALL and ATASC. You would not need to pay two sets of dues for both ATASC and TALL. By offering a more localized presence, ATASC intends to make it more convenient for our members to participate in events. TALL's ability to fulfill its mission of service to the Turkish-American community depends on you. Please send in your 2007-2008 annual membership dues, which start as low as $25 for students, $50 for adults, and include the following benefits:
- Invitation to TALL and ATASC events;
- TALL and ATASC mailings & e-Newsletter;
- Discounts on TALL events;
- Right to vote and run for Board of Directors.
