Born in Ankara in 1977, I was raised in the lovely coastal town of Mersin. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bogazici University, Istanbul in 1999. Then, I moved to Orange County in pursuit of higher education opportunities. I received my Master of Science degree from University of California, Irvine in 2001. I have been working as an Electrical Engineer in various research fields ever since. Currently, I am employed at Schneider Electric's BEI Duncan Electronics Division in Irvine. I am also a proud resident of the city of Irvine.

I'm very honored to be given the opportunity to serve as an OCTAA Executive Committee member. I am looking forward to promoting Turkish culture while building a bridge between the American and the Turkish community in Orange County.
