ATASC and LATAA are proud to help UCLA Turkish American students organize a Turkish Cultural Night to educate UCLA students about Turkey and our culture. UCLA students, under the leadership of Keli Arslancan, Esra Kahveci and Alper Ayvaci, are preparing a cultural night with Turkish history, food, music and dancing. We thank the students who took the initiative and showed us that our YOUTH is fulfilling its duty close to 19th May Youth Celebration.

Did you know that ATASC does lots of charity work here and in Turkey. This is one of those events for raising funds for the needs of an elementary school in Turkey. We investigate these schools, make sure that the needs are real and then ensure that the monies are spent correctly. As ATASC, we have also been contributing to Cagdas Yasam Dernegi (last year we sponsored 6 girls in universities) and Izmit School (Needy children and science and computer labs).
